This exhibition at the Decker Gallery at Maryland Institute College of Art showcases a series of zines exploring the topic of how we remember and mythologize place from three perspectives: personal memory, personal present and collective culture.
The gallery space is transformed into a reading room to invite visitors to interact with the the publications while zine pages hung on the wall allow for a visual overview of the work.
The zines in the series combine projects that create frameworks and methods for gathering, documenting and presenting how memory and myth relate to landscapes and objects found in a certain place.
